From Quick's Freighthaul depot to Rossendale's original self storage company.
The Atherton Way site began as part of Quick's Freighthaul, a local logistics operation collecting Rossendale's shoe manufacturing output and sending 40 ft trailers into the TNT distribution network. In 2006, Ben Quick registered Rossendale Self Storage Ltd after turning part of the depot into storage for business customers and then taking the leap into the first 100 rental units for local households.
